The Responsible Parenting Workshop is based on Adlerian Principles focusing on a democratic relationship between the parent and child.  The workshop is a series of discussion groups and activities that are usually held once a week for 2 hours, lasting a total of 4 weeks (or, one and a half hours for 6 weeks).  This format gives parents the opportunity to practice their new skills and receive feedback from the facilitator and other parents.  The format of the workshop can also be adjusted to meet your needs.

After completion of the workshop, parents will be able to:
                                  • Communicate effectively with their child
                                  • Establish a fair and democratic relationship with their child
                                  • Understand their child's mis-behaviors and how to work through it
                                  • Develop boundaries and expectations for the child and the parent
                                  • and so much more
